I would like to tell you about Kristi Ghent ,she had listed my daughter & son- n- law home where I was staying and that I would like to sign with her and that I was looking to buy a mobil home . We found one and Kristi took over and I bough it. Then I had Kristi put my property and house on the market ,the house was 175 miles from sac. It didn`t take long and it sold , I have to say that Kristi keep me informed almost daily on the progress , it just closed . I just completed my second transaction using Kristi and her team. This time I was selling my mother's modular home, which can be a difficult transaction since it combines elements of an ownership/rental situation. Also, modulars cost less, so commissions are lower. You would think this would reduce the agent's motivation, yet Kristi was always available to me, helpful, and I will say she hustled for us. I found her advice to be sound on the couple of situations that came up, and so I took it. The important thing for us in this situation was to get the sale completed expeditiously, and get the house off the books. Kristi's hustle and efficiency helped a lot with this sale. My first exposure to Kristi and her team was the sale of a rental house to the tenant. I'd proposed to the tenant not to use agents, but the tenant was not comfortable with that, and came to me with Kristi as her agent, and the price increased to cover the cost. Even just working for a buyer's commission, Kristi promised to represent us both. This unusual agency relationship required us to make a leap of faith, and trust this agent who was selected by the other side of the transaction. Kristi proved worthy of our trust, in fact exceeding my "stretch" expectations and we had a very smooth transaction. It was refreshing to work with Kristi! The common thread in these two transactions, and the thing most valuable to me was integrity. In my life I have successfully completed 8 buy/sell transactions for residential real estate, not including refi's, and also had a number of unsuccessful transactions. A couple of times I was burned by unscrupulous agents, and I learned the hard way that integrity matters when it comes to real estate agents, as the regulatory complaint process will not salvage your ruined transaction. In my two transactions with the Ghent Team, they demonstrated that they have integrity by a) providing full blown timely competent service for fees that were reduced by unusual circumstances; and b) resisting real and I'm sure very tempting conflicts of interest. For these reasons the Ghent Team earned my wholehearted recommendation and 5 star rating.
